We are Fence-Aid Ltd. We are online sellers of our unique, simple fence post repair system called Post Buddy.

Before you make a decision to purchase from us, we would like you to be aware of our terms & conditions. Please be sure to read this page thoroughly, as it contains important information about your rights.

Full Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made by you, the customer, from us, Fence-Aid Ltd.

Contact

We are committed to total customer care and abide by the principles of the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Should you need to contact us, please send an email to [email protected] , and we will do our best to get back to you within 24 hours.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch our products as soon as we have received a ‘cleared’ payment. Orders placed before 2pm on a business day will generally be dispatched that afternoon.  Orders received after 2pm on a Friday or over the weekend will generally be dispatched the following business day.

Delivery takes 1-2 business days within mainland UK and 2-3 business days for UK Highlands and Islands.

Once your order is with the courier, you will be sent an email with delivery information including a tracking number. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the courier, deliveries will require a valid signature on receipt and are subject to their terms & conditions of trading. On occasion we will not be able to guarantee a delivery date. However, we will make every effort to ensure that goods are delivered within a reasonable time frame of being ordered.  We deliver to within England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Additional charges will apply to deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands. (We do not deliver to the Channel Islands)

Availability

All orders are accepted subject to stock availability. In the unlikely event that your order cannot be fulfilled within the stated time, we will contact you to inform you of this. If the goods ordered are out of stock, we will contact you within 5 days from the day of your order. We will propose a new delivery date. If you do not wish to wait for goods to become available, we will refund any monies due within 7 days of receiving your instructions.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

The prices quoted on our website and in promotional materials include VAT at the appropriate rate.

Ways to Pay

Fence-Aid Ltd customers must be 18 years of age or over. You will be asked to provide your personal details. It is your responsibility to ensure that the details provided by you for the purpose of ordering products from us are correct and that you have the necessary credit limits and authority to use the credit or debit card you present to us. We have a ceiling limit on the order value that can be accepted when ordering through our website. For security purposes we are not able to advise what this is. If you experience any problems when placing an order online, then contact us at [email protected] . We will endeavour to respond within 24 hours.

Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel from the moment you place your order and up to 14 days after the date of delivery. You must inform us you wish to cancel by email to [email protected] , giving your full name and order reference number. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notified us of your cancellation, in which to return the goods.
Returned goods must be unused and, ideally, in their original packaging.  If the original packaging cannot be used, please ensure goods are packaged securely and are well protected to avoid damage in transit. You must include a note stating your full name, address, and order reference number with your return.

DO NOT use the product, then try to return it. Returned goods are checked thoroughly. Items not returned in their original condition will not be refunded. Under these circumstances, should you want the returned goods to be sent back to you, you will incur additional postage, packing and handling fees.

Refunds

Provided goods are returned to us unused and in their original condition, a refund will be issued within 14 days of the goods being received back and processed at our warehouse at the below return address. Please be aware that return postage costs must be met by you, the consumer.

Returns

Should you wish to return a product to us, please contact us by email to [email protected] , giving your full name and order reference, and stating the reason for the return. Send your return to our returns department clearly marked

Items must be returned to us at your own cost.

You must include a note stating your full name, address and the order reference number.  We advise that you send your return by ‘Signed For’ delivery. Refunds may be declined where there is no proof of receipt at our warehouse.

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that there is a fault with the product, you must notify us by email to [email protected] within 30 days of receipt of the goods, clearly stating details of the fault.  As we cannot examine the goods in person, we will require you to provide a photograph, clearly showing fault.
Goods found to be faulty will be refunded or exchanged (but not both).

As with most DIY products, the effectiveness of Post Buddy relies on correct installation. We cannot accept responsibility for our product not providing a good fix, where the installation instructions have not been followed correctly.

Statutory Rights

To obtain a refund, you must return the goods to us in the same condition as they arrived. So that there is no doubt, anything we say above in relation to returns does not apply to any claim that the goods do not meet a standard required by law. Therefore, if the goods are faulty or were damaged in transit, we will cover the postage costs to return a replacement item to you.

Liability

If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace any goods that are damaged/defective upon delivery or refund you with the amount paid for the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to limit our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Safety Advice & Disclaimer

For your own safety we recommend that you read carefully the instructions provided either on the website or on any leaflets that may be included with the product. Installation of Post Buddy should be carried out by a competent person or persons. Fence-Aid Ltd cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damage caused due to incorrect use of Post Buddy and/or associated installation tools.

Errors

Every effort has been made to ensure that the information supplied is correct at the time of going to press. Errors & omissions excepted.

Agreement

When you purchase products from us, you will be asked agree to our terms & conditions by ticking the checkbox at the bottom of the checkout page of our website.  By ticking this checkbox you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms & conditions. Fence-Aid Ltd has the right to revise these terms & conditions, including prices, at any time. We also have the right to decline service to any individual customer.
