We are Fence-Aid Ltd. We are online sellers of our unique, simple fence post repair system called Post Buddy.

Before you make a decision to purchase from us, we would like you to be aware of our terms & conditions. Please be sure to read this page thoroughly, as it contains important information about your rights.

Full Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made by you, the customer, from us, Fence-Aid Ltd.


We are committed to total customer care and abide by the principles of the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Should you need to contact us, please send an email to , and we will do our best to get back to you within 24 hours, except on weekends or bank holidays when our business is closed.


Post Buddy orders are processed by our order fulfilment company BOXstation (AD Hoc Storage) and dispatched from their warehouse in Hinckley, Leicestershire.  Once payment has been received, the order is electronically transmitted to BOXstation and the order process starts soon after the information has been received by them.

Orders received before 2pm on a business day (Mon – Fri except bank holidays) are generally dispatched the same afternoon.  Orders received after 2pm will generally be dispatched the following business day.  Therefore, orders received after 2pm on Friday and over the weekend are usually dispatched the following Monday (except bank holidays).
Once dispatched, delivery is generally next business day within mainland UK and 2-3 business days for UK Highlands and Islands and Northern Island.  (NB: Although rare, exceptions can occur.  The stated dispatch and delivery times are, therefore, not guaranteed)

Our courier, DPD, will send you notifications confirming dispatch by AD Hoc Storage.  DPD provide delivery information and status updates to help you manage your delivery.  If you have provided a valid mobile number, you will also receive SMS texts with a delivery time slot and updates.
Any delivery arrangements must be made directly with the courier. Unless prior arrangements have been made to the contrary, deliveries may require a valid signature on receipt. Deliveries are subject to the courier’s terms & conditions of trading, which can be found here.

We deliver to within England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  Additional charges apply to deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands. (We do not deliver to the Channel Islands).


All orders are accepted subject to stock availability. In the unlikely event that your order cannot be fulfilled within the stated time, we will contact you to inform you of this. If the goods ordered are out of stock, we will contact you within 3 business days from the day of your order. We will propose a new delivery date. If you do not wish to wait for goods to become available, we will refund your payment within 7 days of receiving your instructions.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

The prices quoted on our website and in promotional materials include VAT at the appropriate rate.

Ways to Pay

We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards and Discover and PayPal.  Please note: we do not accept AMEX.

Fence-Aid Ltd customers must be 18 years of age or over. You will be asked to provide your personal details. It is your responsibility to ensure that the details provided by you for the purpose of ordering products from us are correct and that you have the necessary credit limits and authority to use the credit or debit card you present to us. We have a ceiling limit on the order value that can be accepted when ordering through our website. For security purposes we are not able to advise what this is.

Cancellations and Returns

Please note: once an order has started to process, dispatch can no longer be stopped. 

You have the right to cancel unconditionally from the moment you place your order and for up to 14 days after the date of delivery. You must inform us you wish to cancel by email to , giving your full name and order reference number.  You then have a further 14 days from the date you notified us of your cancellation, in which to post the goods back to us.

Returned goods must be unused, in their original condition and, ideally, in their original packaging.  Please ensure goods are packaged securely and are well protected to avoid damage in transit.

Please note: Items must be returned to us at your own cost.

You must include a note stating your full name, address, and order reference number with your return.

DO NOT use the product, then try to return it. Returned goods are checked thoroughly. Items not returned in their original condition will not be refunded. Under these circumstances, should you want the returned goods to be sent back to you, you will incur additional postage, packing and handling fees.


Provided goods are returned to us unused and in their original condition, a refund will be issued within 14 days of the goods being received.

Please note that postage costs will not be refunded for partial returns.

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that there is a fault with the product, you must notify us by email to within 30 days of receipt of the goods, clearly stating details of the fault.  As we cannot examine the goods in person, we will require you to provide a photograph, clearly showing fault.
Goods found to be faulty will be refunded or exchanged (but not both).

As with most DIY products, the effectiveness of Post Buddys relies on correct installation. We cannot accept responsibility for our product not providing a good fix, where the installation instructions have not been followed correctly.

Statutory Rights and Liability

Anything we say above in relation to returns does not apply where there is proof that the goods do not meet a standard required by law. Therefore, if there is proof the goods are are not as described, faulty or were lost/damaged in transit on their way to you, we will send you a replacement or refund the amount you paid for the goods.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor is it intended to limit our liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

Safety Advice & Disclaimer

For your own safety we recommend that you read carefully the instructions and advice provided either on the website or on any leaflets that may be included with the product. Installation of Post Buddy should be carried out by a competent person or persons. Fence-Aid Ltd cannot be held responsible for any injuries or damage caused due to incorrect use of Post Buddy and/or associated installation tools.

IMPORTANT NOTE: check there are no services within the vicinity of the installation (such as, but not limited to, underground gas, water and waste pipes and electric cables) before beginning the repair.  Work should not be carried out within the vicinity of these services.

We use TrustPilot to request honest, unbiased reviews from some of our verified customers.
This website electronically sends certain basic information about our customers to TrustPilot.  This allows TrustPilot to generate automatic emails to any person, who has purchased from this website, asking that they leave an honest, unbiased review of our product, Post Buddy.  To facilitate this process, TrustPilot gather basic personal information from orders submitted on this website, such as name, email address, order number, etc.  These details are NOT used for marketing purposes and TrustPilot DO NOT have access to payment information.

Once an order has been submitted, TrustPilot generates 2 automatic emails to be sent to some, but not all, email addresses associated with purchases made on this site.  Emails are sent from the email address .  You may receive a review request within a reasonable time of purchasing from us.  You may then receive a follow-up reminder a few days later.  The content of the emails makes it clear that they are about our product, Post Buddy fence post repair.
Leaving a review is entirely at your discretion.
